Terrina Chrishell

Terrina Chrishell Stause (born July 21 1981) is an American actress. She is most famous for her role as Amanda Dillon in All My Children as well as Jordan Ridgeway on Days of Our Lives. Stause was born in Draffenville, Kentucky. She received her B.A. from Murray State University. She began performing in theatre in 2003. The name she chose for her middle name, "Chrishell", is an evocative term developed from the bizarre circumstances of her birth. Her mother gave birth in an Shell station, and Chris was present during the delivery. In her book, Strause denies the gossip on her birth. She spoke out about her mother's automobile troubles and then walked into an auto gas station. She entered pre-labor while waiting in the station and the attendant helped her to the hospital. Strause was born in the hospital. Prior to finding out that she was pregnant her mother separated her from her father. He was half Japanese, half Spanish. Jeff is her stepfather. Chrishell Strause had to live in a tent in middle school, which meant she did not attend school for the full year. Strause shared her story of washing her hair in the river, hiding from her friends, and how she used food stamps. Parents were suffering from addiction and mental illness. Strause was 10 when she became a member of the Worldwide Church of God. Her mother never had any steady employment and Strause describes her as free spirit and self-righteous.
