Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara, OC was born on March 4 1954. She is a Canadian-American comedian actor, writer, and actress. O'Hara has been the recipient of several awards which include the Genie Award, a Golden Globe Award and two Screen Actors Guild Awards, two Primetime Emmy Awards, and six Canadian Screen Awards. In the year 2018, she was named an Officer of Canada. Then, in 2020, she received the Governor General's Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement award. O'Hara was first noticed as an actress in 1974 as a member of The Second City improvisational comedy troupe in Toronto. Along with John Candy, O'Hara was part of the main ensemble cast for the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978). O'Hara began working alongside Candy in Second City Television's sketch comedy program (1976-1984). O'Hara was praised for her stand-up and writing abilities, and was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award of Outstanding Writing for Variety Series in 1981. In 2022, O'Hara was added to the brand-new Second City artistic advisory board headed by Stephen Colbert, along with Steve Carell, Dwayne Colbert, Tina Fey, Keegan-Michael Key, Julia Louis-Dreyfus Jane Lynch, Tim Meadows, Peter Murrieta, Suzy Nakamura, Sam Richardson, Jeff Richmond, Jason Sudeikis, and Robin Thede.
